Markus “Notch” Persson released the first game after the highly successful Minecraft. The new game is called Cliffhorse and it was created in just 2 hours with the Unity Game Engine.
About the creation of the game, Notch said:
“I was watching PewGeminiLive streaming a blind playthrough of Skyrim, and kept jokingly referring to the game as “Cliffhorse” because of the hilarious horse physics. After a while, people started saying I should make that game, and I said sure. About 2 hours and a bunch of free Unity assets later, Cliffhorse was done.”
Those interested in downloading the game can do so with the use of Steam Greenlight. Purchases are handled through the dodgecoin crypto currency.
Although many will be interested in seeing Notch’s new game, make sure that you take a look at the video below to see what you would play as. The game features the player as a horse that is looking for a ball and playing with it. Cliffhorse was launched as an ironic game but it will definitely generate sales due to Persson’s popularity.
