Sony is on its way towards offering the first ever YouTube video sharing through a gaming console, PS4. This will be possible through an app that is especially designed for the PlayStation 4. The app will become functional later this year.
The addition was announced at the E3 2014 event. It was added that uploading video captures to a channel will be made easy for gamers by the addition of a simple to use share button. Videos shared by friends appear in “What’s New” feed. Gamers can thus see all videos uploaded by friends.
At E3 it was also announced that starting on September 23, the Xbox One will be available in stores in India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. This includes the One sole console and the Kinect-included version.
The new Xbox video gaming consoles will include an Xbox Live Gold 14-day trial and a free Wireless Controller. By the end of the year it is expected to see the gaming console in other Asian countries, besides those mentioned.
