The world is shocked as Robin Williams, comedian and actor, Grammy and Oscar Winner famous for rapid-delivery, died at the age of 63. According to authorities, the cause seems to be suicide. Williams’ actor declared that the actor was suffering from “severe depression of late.”
Susan Schneider, his wife, declared:
“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”
According to the Marin County Sherrif’s Office Coroner division, the cause is suspected to be “suicide due to asphyxia.” His body was found at 12:02 PM.
Robin Williams struggled with cocaine and alcohol addiction. He had been sober for 20 years when he relapsed in the year 2006 and entered rehab. During last month, he returned to rehab in order to “focus on his continued commitment”.
The actor was scheduled to appear in another part of the “Night At The Museum” series and he was also in talks to participate in another “Mrs. Doubtfire” movie.
