One guy was killed and another injured when guards fired upon a vehicle that tried to run during the entry gates near Washington of the National Security Agency on Monday.
A police officer was injured, officials said.
Both men, who have been dressed in women’s clothing, attempted to drive a black Ford Escape via an entry gate at the NSA’s Fort Meade, Maryland, headquarters, a senior U.S. official said.
When they were requested to leave the place, barriers were put up and, the car subsequently hastened toward an NSA Police car blocking the road, ramming it. When the driver refused to halt officers opened fire.
A man reported his Ford Escape as being stolen from a closeby resort, and officials have supported it was the same car the two guys were driving. Cocaine and a gun were afterwards found in the car. It’s believed the men had been prior to the shooting event at a celebration in the resort.
