Starting on Thursday, Google Maps give soccer fans access to all World Cup stadiums in Brazil through its free service. Street View now features every single one of the 12 World Cup stadiums. Those interested can see all the stadiums here.
Deanna Yick, Street View program manager said:
“Whether you’re watching the game from the comfort of your couch r packing your bags for Brazil, Google Maps is your ticket to the World Cup. And if you’re lucky enough to have a physical ticket to Brazil, don’t forget to pack Google Maps for mobile.”
Google did different modifications in order to help those that will attend the 2014 World Cup. There are now various tools that users can take advantage of in order to find easy routes to the stadium or to cities that host soccer games. In addition, new maps of interest points for tourists were added to Google Maps together with the stadiums.
