Amazon will unveil a new device at an event in Seattle on June 18th. The announcement was made through a YouTube clip that hinted at something “super awesome”.

Nobody knows what the device is and although everything will be speculation until the official launch event, many specialists believe that the clip is talking about a smartphone that features a 3D holographic display. The device is rumored to be capable of creating stereoscopic images without the need to use 3D glasses by tracking the user’s eye position and projecting appropriate images.
If the rumors are true, Amazon would enter a brand new market by offering a handset of its own.
