Following the shooting at the Seattle Pacific University, a new report involving guns appears at a Portland, Oregon High School. Authorities declared that the gunman entered the Reynolds High School on Tuesday morning, fatally shot a student and was then killed.
According to initial reports, the victim was a male student. The shooter was not identified yet but he was a teenage male. Sgt Carey Kaer declared that the victim was killed inside the gymnasium. The shooter’s body was found in a bathroom. Suicide is possible.
As shots were heard in the school, all students were put on lockdown and directed towards classes. According to Morgan Rose, freshman, 15:
“It was scary in the moment now knowing everything’s OK I’m better.”
A news conference will be held in order to release more information about the shooting. So far investigations are ongoing and not many details were released by the authorities. However, police issued a statement in which they said that there is no immediate danger at the moment and the situation is fully under control.
