A Boeing 777 plane from Malaysia Airlines was just confirmed to have crushed in Eastern Ukraine, near the border with Russia, according to a report by Interfax. The plane was carrying 295 people, including staff.
What is worrying is that initial reports state that the plane was brought down with the use of a ground-to-air missile. Government minister in the country believes that the plane was shot down by Ukrainian Rebels. If this is true, it would mark another potentially international incident after the one that involved Russia.
It was the Ukrainian Air Traffic agency that initially reported the crash of the Malaysian Airlines plane near the border between Russia and Ukraine. According to Reuters, the plane was took down with a missile while at an altitude of 10 km in Eastern Ukraine, the battle ground between pro-Russian rebels and Ukrainian government forces.
If the plane was in-fact brought down by a missile is to be seen but if that is the case, it would mark a new stage in the conflicts in the area.
According to sources from the Ukrainian government, all passengers died!
