Michael Schumacher suffered severe trauma in the head region during a skiing accident that happened at Meribel on Dcember 29. Treatment was done in Grenoble after the accident.
A French prosecutor investigated the accident and the official reason for the fall was not speed. It was shown that a rock that was hidden under snow was hit while skiing in an area between 2 marked pistes. Then, he was catapulted with the head hitting another rock.
