Copilot Andreas Lubitz intentionally crashed the Germanwings flight Tuesday transporting 150 people.
German Bild has produced a listing of what they claim went on ahead of the collision.
The timeline is dependant on knowledge extracted from a black box restored from the accident site. A transcript of the cockpit voice recording has to be released by authorities.
Bild claims you will find 1.5 hours of audio on the voice recorder. Capt. Patrick Sondenheimer tells passengers he’s sorry for 20 minutes delay.
The captain informs copilot Andreas Lubitz he did not have an opportunity to go to the bathroom in Barcelona. He is told by Lubitz he can go anytime.
The airplane reaches a height of 38,000 feets at 10:27.
At 10: 29 the airplane starts to descend. Soon after the pilot could be heard shouting, and also there’s a bang in the cockpit “For God’s sake, open the door!” passengers can be heard yelling in the back.
At 10: 35 loud hits are noticed as though somebody is attempting to knock the door down. The airplane reaches about 23,000 feet.
At 10: 38 the A320 keeps descending and the co-pilot could be heard breathing.
At 10: 40 the right-wing of the airplane strikes a mountaintop as screams are heard for thelast time.
